Once more, the crew of Grampian SeaShed were off on their travels...

Entrance to the museum

We met in the car park having travelled ther in 3 cars and went in to the museum where we were greeted by a lovely member of staff who was most helpful. After an introduction to the museum we were off...

We had planned to visit the Grampian Transport Museum followed buy the Heritage Museum, however, it soon became apparent that we could not do both in one day!

We split up and did our own adventuring discovering many and varied exhibits to read about.

One of my favourites was the motorbike used by Billy Connelly from his TV series...

However, it wasn't long before some crew members fell for the lure of the excellent on-site cafe!

Then back to exploring more of the Museum. There certainly was plenty to see and you need to give yourself time to see everything.

And of course, we had to stop for a lunch break - so we walked over to the Alford Bistro for a great lunch where their very friendly staff served up our lunch and drinks... all at a reasonable price too!

A return to the museum in glorious sunshine where yet more exploration of the excellent and varied exhibits took place.

Whats up there I wonder - One of our crew may have caught fish going by his outstretched hands?

Then we managed two things that are key parts of the reason for the groups existence...

We had a meeting where lots was discussed, however, this was in a rather unusual setting - in an old, but luxury coach!

The second one was gathering around food (again!) We all defended upon the on site cafe for tea/coffee and a cake..

We had a great day out and are looking forward to our next outing - Where will it be I wonder?
