Outing to Montrose
SeaShed Members Visit Montrose
We had a good outing to Montrose on ghe 29th of May when we visited the Montrose Air Museum.
We were warmly welcomed and our two hour visit past in a flash. Many of our members commented on their surprise as to how much was on display.

We were well looked after by the volunteers and the rain held off - a bonus!
That said, the vending machine for coffee/tea is £1 a cup but is to be avoided!

Nevertheless, it was a good visit and I would recommend you pay it a visit if ever you are in the area. Below are a some more pictures and of the other historic site we visited on the day:

Lots to read up on... Then we headed to see Bamse's statue and then his grave...

The business behind the fence moved it's boundary fence to enable visitors to reach Bamse's grave...
And then it was off for a nice lunch...

All agreed it was a great day out... where next? Watch this space!!
